| Hyouhaku was minding his own business, sitting on a bench, eating some gummies he bought earlier. He just left Nova's house, and he was watching people pass by to relax a little. He saw a familiar face - Alexzander - walk by. Being an acquaintance of his, he felt obliged to at least say hi. "Hey, Alex. What do you say?", he asked, trying to seem cheerful. At the time, he was indifferent at best. | |

| Alexzander was walking toward the task force office in Montana to see how Nova was adjusting to academy. He was almost a block away when ue was stopped by a familar face, "Oh, Hyouhaku howdy. How have you been? Visiting Nova I would assume how he holding up?" Alexzander's face showed a look of surprise and happiness but deep down he felt uncomfortable from when they first met. | |

| "Aye. Holdin' up fine, he is. Tough luck on him these days, though. Reign and all.", Hyouhaku said. "And me myself, I've been fine. Eating some gummies while watching people walk by. Want some?", he asked, showing him the pack of gummies. | |

| "Yeah its been ruff these days. I am just glad we can still have normal day like this. With the kids running wild people still smiling and laughing. This is the reason I joined the task force... To... to protect this..." Alexzander didnt realize he started ranting again but when he came to he was met with the question and a sweet scent of gummy bears, "I would love some." He sat on the bench next to Hyouhaku and took a few gummies and observed the happiness and light of what he began to rant about. | |

| Munching down on multiple gummies at once, Hyouhaku gazed at the sky, wondering how to start a conversation after a few moments of silence. "So, how'd you get your high rank in the task force? At least, I'd assume your rank is quite high for Nova to call you 'boss'", he said, taking out more gummies form the pack. | |

| "Well I pretty much had to work my ass of. Getting to this position was hard. First I had to survive through the academy which was like boot camp and once I made it out I couldn't do much because at the time I had no powers. So I was just a mail boy for the task force prescient. Eventually I made way to arron boy within a month and a few days after that I got my powers. Funny enough my oowers were perfect for the job and when I learned and perfected them I continued to rise. It was not until I lead my first grouo who took down two Excul that I got my current position. Although I am still not as high as I could be. See I havent had the opportunity to use even half of my real power for the tasl force. The opportunity never came about," he would say as he finished the last gummies he was given. | |

| "Oho, so you're saying you have some hidden, undiscovered potential? That sounds cool.", Hyouhaku said. "I believe me and Senketsu also have much to learn. Not just in regards to combat, but also in regards to each other. This... I believe this to be our hidden potential that'll carry us to the top. We haven't had a chance to use it, though, much like your situation.", he said, looking down. He then searched the pack for more gummies, only to find one left. "...Here you go. You can have it. If I complain about you eating it later, just ignore me.", he said, handing him the final gummy. | |

| "Oh no thanks. To much sugar gives me nightmares and only god knows what type of nightmares my brain could muster since the Reign has started, " he would say while laughing although he knew his words where the truth. He would like listen as Hyouhaku spoke about developing relationships. Which was something he tried to do best with his inherited box weapon a item that came along with his powers that could enhance and strengthen them drastically. Inside the weapon held a power beast a Lion who as well holds many powers and abilities ment for battle. Its name is Bester, and within a short period of time him and Alexzander have grown close but since he hasn't had the chance to use the full limits of his power Bester for the most part has to be constantly contained while ar work or on business which is practically all the time, "Yeah I understand bonding as well. Its is accompanied with gaining powers." | |

| "I certainly don't doubt it. Me and Senketsu have earned a fair amount of 'em, in the form of transformations. And it surely pays off.", Hyouhaku said, smiling. "Anyways, how do you see bonding? What makes you say you understand it? Is it because you tend to talk to your subordinates a lot?", he asked, eating the final gummy and compacting the gummy pack. | |

| "Some what a subordinate. His a companion gifted to me from the person who I succeed. A Lion named Bester I can reflect my emotions and personality off of his and its like a mirror. Were extremely close but I hardly have time to see him because of my job. I am not allowed to summon him unless there is a threat who contains powers of inhuman quality like us successors or the Excul," he would say with a quiet saddened face. | |

| "It must suck not to be able to see your friends often, huh? I'd feel really bad if that happened to me and Senketsu...", Hyouhaku said. "Don't worry. I'm sure you'll both get to see each other more often one of these days.", he said, patting Alex on the back. | |

| Alexzander felt comforted by Hyouhaku. He would reach into a bag he had on the right side of his shoulder which wouldn't have been visible up into this point. He would reach inside grabbing something which pulled gave off the sound of a chain. It jinged as he lifted it from its hiding place. The first thing Hyouhaku would see was a metal lach that attach to his belt. Next would be a small short chain leading to a black box which read Varia around each face and seemed to glimmer a orange shine, "This is Bester's home, also the key to my full potential." He would gently place the small box into his hand which fit perfectly into his palm. The box would began to shake as if Bester knew Alexzander was there he would only hold the box just enough to secure its place, "I am sorry buddy I can't let you out right now." The box would stop shaking as the Alexzander smiled would fade again. | |

| "Hey, that looks cool! I mean, not as cool as being able to wear him on and about, but it's still pretty cool to be able carry him around, I guess.", Hyouhaku said, staring at the box with glimmering eyes. "Hm... While I have been refusing to interrupt you conversation with Alex, I do agree that this is quite interesting. If Alex has as much potential as he says, he'll be a valuable friend to have. He seems quite nice, too. Good job.", Senketsu said to Hyouhaku. The boy nodded in response. | |

| "Hahaha, thanks. Hopefully you and Senketsu can meet Bester some day. Although hopefully on good terms," he would say with worrisome eyes. The would lach his Box Weapon to his blet loop allows it to hand from his waist at a moderate lenght. He would then began to stand and stretch a bit, "So what are you doing today. I am going to reschedule my meeting with the task force and maybe go visit Nova." | |

| "Well, I was just planning on eating the gummies, then going home. It was nice for you to show up, though. Talking to people is always a good thing.", Hyouhaku said. "Are you leaving right now?", he asked, resting his head on his hand. | |

| Alexzander would nod and smilie as he started walking in the direction of Nova's home. With a smile on his face and the beginning of a new friendship he felt nothing could ruin this day, and he was right... nothing could.
