Name: John Rake


Title: Dusk Sentinel.

Age: 32 Years of age.


Appearance: John has the appearance of a very tall, 6"5 to be exact, man with dark skin and an almost menacing body build, despite his contrasting personality. To back up his tallness, John is incredibly muscular, though keeps it slightly concealed under several layers of clothing which he wears at all times. His hair is a glistening white-Okay, maybe i'm exaggerating a bit-and rolls all the way down to his waist in a rather scruffy pattern, something which often lead to name-calling during school. Something he didn't like.

His eyes are that of a dark green, almost black from a distance, which often show kindness and compassion to those who look at them. His usual clothing consists of a white shirt, a couple of layers of cloth, and a white over-coat.


Background:

John was born, and lived his life, with a fascination for light. Be it candles, lamps or his favorite, Lightning, he just loved it, it made him happy, less stressed. Therefore, it made perfect since for the events which occurred to happen. He was often considered a gentle giant at his school, protecting others from bullies, helping people, even those he hadn't known, with their personal problems. Though not the most intelligent, he was satisfied with his mediocre grades.  Everything went smoothly. Until the reign, that is.

It came suddenly, with an explosion at the school, causing panic to ensue. People ran around in utter chaos, almost like a swarm of bees after their nest had fallen. And indeed, it felt that way. John and three of his friends managed to escape the building, only to see the entire city under attack. They had to survive, as none of them had powers yet, so they ran. They simply kept running until they ran out of breath. And when they did, they would rest for the smallest of breaks, before running again.

After the first hour, one friend had been to exhausted to carry on, and was taken by an Excul.

Three hours later, the other killed himself, stabbing his throat, in fear that he would not escape.

It was only two of them left. John had to protect him from the Excul. This caused him to awaken his powers. The initial burst unfortunately killed his friend, but he defeated an Excul, and went on helping others to do so. It ended up being what he lived for.


Personality: Despite his almost menacing appearance, John earned himself a reputation in his school for being the "nice guy." He is fairly level-headed, able to keep calm during most situations, even dire ones, but his major trait is his kindness. He doesn't discriminate between friend or foe, and shows some level of kindness to everyone. But that is not to say that he cannot get angry. It takes a lot to get him angry, abut very little for him to settle down. During combat, he usually remains silent, as he believes it is a time for seriousness.

Body Flicker Technique: An almost instantaneous movement to a direction with a limited range of 10 Meters. Has a cooldown of Two Posts.

Second Abilities:

Four Finger Hell Stab: John can concentrate lightning chakra into his four fingers, creating a powerful and Sharp blade around his hands with the ability to penetrate thin walls or armours. This ability lasts for Ten posts, with a cooldown of Three Posts.
+30 Magic Power


Three Finger Hell Stab: This ability involves John only using three fingers, thus the lightning becoming more concentrated and more powerful than Four Finger Hell Stab, and an pierce through strong walls and thick armour. This ability lasts for Ten Posts with a coodown of Four.
+45 Magic Power

Back Lightning: This allows John to shoot out a stream of black lightning from the Tatoo on his right shoulder, which is much more powerful than regular lightning.
+30 Magic Power  +30 attack Speed.

Third Abilities (Your strongest abilities that change any flow of battle*)

Lightning Armor-This is John's method of combat, involving him wrapping himself in a layer of Lightning chakra, which electrically stimulates the user's nervous system. The technique speeds up neural synapses to react faster, and to push physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing for tremendous raw speed. It also provides a powerful armor, and when used, John's hair spikes up. This ability lasts for Ten posts, before a four post cooldown ensues.

One Finger Hell Stab-John's most powerful technique, this allows him to concentrate all the energy into a single finger, creating a sort of blade which extends about half a meter from his index finger. This can pierce almost any form of barrier or armor.  Lasts for Ten Posts.Has a cooldown of Six post
