Liberation and Invasion are two different terms for the same thing. To invade and conquer a world or Garrison, or Liberate and free a world or Coven.

Invading or Liberating a Sinking (in between light and dark) world requires one thing, to attack and defeat the Corrupted or Pure heroes of each world. Each world will have a set number of heroes within one side or the other. Each world has two+ areas. To free or conquer a world, you have to defeat these heroes.


When making an Invasion or Liberation topic, you create a topic within the world and type (Liberation) or (Invasion). The first topic must also list the people within the party.


Liberation or Invasion requires 2-4 people, and is completely free. However, only one Liberation can happen, and only one Invasion can happen within a time (this is subject to change as our site grows).

Yes, a Liberation and Invasion can happen at the same time. If this happens, both sides must defeat their respective heroes, then defeat each other. Remember, death is VERY real.

Lastly, the reward. If you accomplish Invading or Liberating a world, each person who participated gains 50 Lux if you're a Liberator, or 50 Umbra if you're a Shade. This leads onto further aspects of Liberation and Invasion.

You CAN Invade or Liberate Garrions and Covens, and completely take over that area. In order to attack a Garrison or Coven, it requires 120 Lux or Umbra. This grants access to create a topic for Liberation or Invasion of a Coven. This allows from 1-6 people.

Lux and Umbra can also be used as payment for special rights. Extra character slots, the ability to change sides, even create your OWN custom abilities!

You may also recruit Dusks to fight for your side for free, with no cost or limit. However, beware. Dusks may betray you at will. However, if a Dusk accepts payment of Lux or Umbra, they cannot betray you. The payment is up to the payer.

Liberations and Invasions require a more specified definition in how they are going to work. Liberations and Invasions will now work off of a single combat scenario. This means that once you have entered the Gateway with your group, it will not be a big 4v4 fight, it will be a series of 1v1s. The NPCs will be controlled by either a staff member outside the topic, or a staff member trusted not to be biased when controlling NPCs. Occasionally, members might be asked to perform this role. The battles are won upon one side admitting defeat, or dying. You don't need to win all of the battles, just a majority. A tie will result in a loss, however.

The same goes for if an ending conflict arises when both sides meet each other at the heart of the world, having defeated their NPCs.
